Pastor John has served as senior pastor of Shiloh since January 2020. He has been in pastoral ministry for over twenty years and has a passion for helping people connect the truth of God with real everyday life. John has a vision to see the people of Shiloh reaching those around us with the gospel through genuine relationships, learning from God’s Word together, and serving our community as a family within the church and beyond. He believes church is a team sport, and no one is meant to sit-the-bench. John has had the privilege to serve alongside many well respected pastors and mentors, and has several degrees from various Southern Baptist schools/seminaries including: Dallas Baptist University, Southwestern Seminary, and Midwestern Seminary. Through the years, John has pastored churches in Texas, Illinois, Tennessee, and North Carolina. He and his wife Beth have been married since 2000 and they have three children: Reagan, Kennedy, and Lincoln. John loves building and fixing things with his hands, spending time outdoors, baseball, cars, gadgets, science, epic movies, westerns, and science fiction. Pastor Lee has served as a pastoral staff member at Shiloh since October of 2010. His role began as Education, Children, and Technology Pastor and has expanded to his current position as Executive Pastor. He has served in pastoral ministry since the late 90s and has been honored to serve churches of varying size ranging from church plants to larger congregational settings. He has a vision and passion to see the Gospel put on display so that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him in a deep and personal way. He is currently serving as the Senior Chaplain of the Garner, NC Police Department as well as the NC Area Representative for the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC). He holds a Bachelors of Psychology and Masters of Divinity degrees along numerous certifications relating to pastoral care ministry and chaplaincy. He and his wife Emily have been have been married since 2005 and have a son, Isaac, and daughter, Eden. In his free time, you will find him working with chaplaincy, camping, or scuba diving. Student & Family Life Pastor
Pastor Matt has served as Student and Family pastor of Shiloh since July 2020. He has served in the church for many years, in many different roles. He is passionate about getting students and families involved with the Gospel outside of the church walls so that they are connecting with the world while building God’s kingdom. He believes that the church should be unified and that the stronger we are as a church, the greater effect we will have on our local community and the world. Matt has an undergraduate degree in Film Studies from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington and is currently seeking a Masters in Divinity degree. He met his wife Allison at UNCW and they have been married since 2007. They have two children: Evan and Carter. In his free time Matt enjoys watching and discussing movies, listening to and discussing music, watching his favorite sports teams (Carolina Hurricanes, Tottenham Hotspurs, Chicago Cubs, Carolina Panthers and UNC Tarheels) and visiting local state parks to hike their trails or just spend time enjoying God’s creation.
