Matt Whaley

Student & Family Life Pastor

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

Ephesians 2:4-10

Pastor Matt has served as Student and Family pastor of Shiloh since July 2020. He has served in the church for many years, in many different roles. He is passionate about getting students and families involved with the Gospel outside of the church walls so that they are connecting with the world while building God’s kingdom.  He believes that the church should be unified and that the stronger we are as a church, the greater effect we will have on our local community and the world.
Matt has an undergraduate degree in Film Studies  from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington and is currently seeking a Masters in Divinity degree.  He met his wife Allison at UNCW and they have been married since 2007.   They have two children: Evan and Carter.   In his free time Matt enjoys watching and discussing movies, listening to and discussing music, watching his favorite sports and visiting local state parks to hike their trails or just spend time enjoying God’s creation.
Pastor Matt would love to connect with you through social media or in person to get to know you and your family and discover ways we can work alongside each other here at Shiloh.

Kristy Antrobus

Children's Ministry Director

"Be still, and know that I am God;"

Psalm 46:10

Kristy Antrobus and her family have been members of Shiloh Baptist since 2014.  She is happily married to Jeremy and has two daughters; Kennedy and Josey. Prior to joining the staff at Shiloh she taught Preschool for 20 years.
She has been serving in the children’s ministry since 2014 and wants every child to know Jesus in a real way. Kristy firmly believes that if Jesus takes root in the heart of a child, the fruit of that seed can and will continue to grow throughout their lives. She desires to foster an environment where children know they belong in God’s family! Kristy enjoys serving at Polenta Elementary as their PTA President, spending time with her family and crafting.
Kristy loves meeting new people.
She would love to talk to you more!

Amy Loseke

Music Director

"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone, my hope comes from Him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation.  I shall not be shaken."

Psalm 62:5-6

Amy is married to Phil with 3 grown sons, 2 beautiful daughters in love, and 2 grandsons.  She has been a member of Shiloh Baptist since October 2000 and dearly loves her church family.  During this time, she has served in many different areas of the church from VBS and Children's Christmas play Director to Youth chaperone to NYC Missions. Missions hold a special place in her heart.  Anywhere you are can be your mission field.  Music has been a central part of her life from a very young age.  She believes there is beautiful music for everyone's heart and tries to incorporate that into each worship service.  She says that she is incredibly blessed by the talent here at Shiloh and could not possibly do her job without the wonderful commitment of so many special and talented people.  Amy works full time as the discipline coordinator for Cleveland High School but in her spare time you will likely find her at the beach.

Sandra Barden

Custodian

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Psalm 23

Sandra has served on the Custodial staff at Shiloh since August 2020.  She did serve prior to this with a contract company at Shiloh and loved it so much she stayed on to work for the church directly.
Sandra was baptized here at Shiloh in October of 2020 and considers this her church home as well.
Sandra grew up in Garner, loves NC State, her family and her dogs.  In her spare time she likes to work in her flowers and spend time with her sisters.

Julie Williams

Office Manager

"Remember my affliction and my wanderings the wormwood and the gall! My soul continually remembers it and is bowed down within me. But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”

Lamentations 3: 19-24

Julie joined the staff of Shiloh in 2016, with a brief time away she is back serving in the front office.  She has been married to her husband Travis since 2001 and they have six children: Isaiah, Micah, Anna, Samuel, Shiloh and Asa.
She is a member of Treasuring Christ Church in Raleigh where her husband serves as a pastor and her family have been members since it was planted in 2005.  Julie completed her Masters of Arts at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida.
Julie has a passion for the local church, seeing it grow and flourish being the beacon of light which Christ uses to show himself to the world.  She loves going on mission trips, fishing, reading, spending time with her family and watching any sporting event though the Florida Gators are her favorite.
